There can be no doubt that the BMW M5 is one of the true stars among upper mid-size sedans. Up to 625 HP from a twin-charged V8 suffice for a sprint to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and – depending on its configuration – a top speed of up to 305 km/h. This
There can be no doubt that the BMW M5 is one of the true stars among upper mid-size sedans. Up to 625 HP from a twin-charged V8 suffice for a sprint to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and – depending on its configuration – a top speed of up to 305 km/h. This puts the car up with the fastest and most powerful that this vehicle type has to offer. Of course, such an outstanding machine should ideally also ride on an extraordinary set of wheels. Hence the specialists at ZPerformance have done just this for the specimen shown here.
Done up entirely in somber black, this sedan stands on a set of two-piece, 10×20” ET18 and 11×21” ET17 ZP.FORGED 17 Deep Concave rims bolted with “hidden hardware”. The visual hallmarks of these multi-spoke wheels are their matte gunmetal centers combined with polished wells or lips, respectively. The 275/30R20 and 285/30R20 tires – combined with KW Variant 4 coilovers – enhance the driving dynamics and the look of the M5 at the same time.
Further customizations to reinforce the fierce look of the M5 include several addon parts made of carbon fiber: the front spoiler lip comes from RKP Composites and was procured by way of IND Style. The trailing edge on the rear and the rocker panels are, by contrast, OEM products from the M Performance product range. To prevent unwanted damages to the body from stone chipping, the specialists at Custom Tuning covered the entire vehicles with a protective wrapping from XPEL.
The BMW’s driving end was also optimized. A completely new FI exhaust system is connected to the twin-turbo engine, including downpipes and tailpipes covered in carbon fiber. The interior, finally, was enhanced with a set of extended carbon shift paddles from Paddleshifterz.
